Math Review Seminar Leader

Responsible to: ASC Assistant Director

Pay Rate: Salary

Job Description: This position is responsible for coordinating and conducting a series of math brush-up seminars for students required to complete the University’s math competency requirements. This position requires excellent speaking skills, well-developed social skills, proficiency in math, interpersonal skills, teaching ability, and the desire to serve as a role model and mentor for university students.

Hours per Week: A qualified candidate should expect to spend 8-12 hours per week in this position.

A personal interview is required and will be scheduled upon receipt of qualified application materials. Please include relevant course work that may apply to this position. Applicant must be a Western Michigan University undergraduate or graduate student throughout the period of employment.
