
As part of the Intellectual Skills Development program, all entering students are required to demonstrate certain basic competencies in reading, writing and mathematics. The Effective Reading Seminars are designed to assist students in completing the requirements for the basic skills which are required to pass the course LS 1040.
Please call (269) 387-4442 to schedule a testing time with the Academic Skills Center. Bring a picture ID and a #2 pencil. You must complete item #1 listed above before you will be allowed to take the test.
Students requesting accommodations for a disability must provide a letter from Disabled Student Resources and Services. This letter, which outlines the applicable student needs, must be received one week prior to accommodations being provided and should be sent to:
