Thank you to all participants in the 2015 I Am CAS contest. Students entered from a wide-range of academic programs and represent Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, North Carolina, Malaysia and the Philippines! Each statement and photo entry demonstrates the positive impact that the College of Arts and Sciences has had on the educational experience and personal lives of Western Michigan University students. See all photos from this year's participants.

The selection committee had a difficult time deciding, but this year's winners are Kaylee Brown and Courtney Conrad!

Kaylee BrownI came to the university shy and timid and I will be leaving a confident leader. If someone would have told me 5 years ago that I would have presented at regional and national conferences on a number of topics across the U.S., I would have never believed it. I will be forever thankful that I found a home in the College of Arts and Sciences and that they gave me the tools and the confidence to excel.

Courtney ConradThe College of Arts and Sciences has given me the opportunity to learn from influential professionals and open-minded students, engage in thought-provoking dialogue, and strengthen my personal and professional skills. I would not be where I am today without my experiences within CAS.
