BFA – Photography
This degree is designed for qualified students who intend to become professional artists or pursue graduate study in art. Art majors must make application to a departmental committee for admission to B.F.A. candidacy in a specific area of emphasis after completing 30 hours in art and one semester residency in the department. It also is necessary to be at or above the 3000-level in the area to which they are applying.

BFA – Photography and Intermedia
This option in the BFA is designed for qualified students who intend to become professional photographers or pursue graduate study in art. Art majors must make application to a departmental committee for admission to B.F.A. candidacy in a specific area of emphasis after completing 30 hours in art and one semester residency in the department. It also is necessary to be at or above the 3000-level in the area to which they are applying. Portfolio reviews for admission into the Photography and Intermedia BFA will be held on the last Saturday of each semester before finals week.
Courses
Minor in Art
This program is designed to expose the student to the field of art. Art minors must register with the art advisor before completing any art courses. A minor slip is required.
