Starving Artists at Western (SAAW) is a new organization for both art students and non-art majors that works towards discovering new types of art that differ from your average painting or drawing (who knew that food could be used to make art?). SAAW brings something new to Western Michigan University, in that it is non-program specific. Are you a photo major who would like to know more painting? You can do that at SAAW and be provided with a great opportunity to make new friends. When everyones majors are set aside, there is one thing that ties all of us together and that's our hunger to learn more about art.
