University Admission

Applicants must apply to the Western Michigan University Office of Graduate Admissions and Orientation, as well as to the Frostic School of Art. Application to the Graduate College may be completed online, or by calling 269.387.2000 to request an application.

Frostic School of Art Application Process

Application to the Frostic School of Art can be done concurrently with the WMU graduate admissions application. Applicants must submit the documents specified below by creating an online account at frosticart.slideroom.com. Access to Slideroom will open February 22, 2012.

Application Deadline

May 15, 2012 for fall 2012 enrollment. Late applications will be considered on a case by case basis.

Notification of Acceptance

A letter of notification will be sent to each applicant approximately four weeks after the application deadline informing you of the following action:

  1. Accepted. You are accepted into the Frostic School of Art - Master of Arts degree in Art Education starting Fall semester.
  2. Acceptance denied. You are not admitted into the Frostic School of Art, Master of Arts degree in Art Education.
  3. Waiting list status. When and if space becomes available, you will be notified of your acceptance.
