The Administrative Professional Association (APA) has organized a 9 hole golf outing for the WMU campus community. Anyone affiliated with WMU may play in this event. The golf outing is designed to introduce and build relationships with WMU colleagues. Join us after work for this fun event.
What: Third Annual Community Golf Outing - Scramble - Shotgun Start - Longest Drive
Where: The Prairies - Map (5303 W. Main St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009)
next to the PNC Bank
When: Friday, August 20, 2010 at 3:30. Golfers must check in at the Prairies between 2:45-3:10PM Shotgun start begins at 3:30PM.
Cost: $43/person, includes 9 holes with cart, cash bar, gratuity, prizes, light dinner, and refreshments. For every registration, $5 will be donated to the APA Seita Scholars Fund.
Why: To Build Community at Western Michigan University.
Registration Deadline: Monday, August 9, 2010 at Noon. Registration is only available online. There is a late registration option if you choose to add after August 9, total cost is $46 dollars.
Details: Since the goal of this outing is to "build community" at WMU, people may register as a single (and be matched up with someone) or as a double. Doubles will be matched up with another pair from another department within WMU to create a foursome. This will give you the opportunity to meet new colleagues. Golf will conclude at the clubhouse with refreshments and a light dinner.
