A closer look: Scott Schultz is a cultural anthropologist and a craft brewer of beer. He is interested in commodity production and consumption and its relationship to social identity, particularly in the U.S. beer industry. He has been a professional brewer in Grand Rapids for over two years with a strong interest in creative expression and environmental sustainability through production and its relationship to sociocultural interest and identity in consumption.
