Entrance Instructions for Students
Feel
free to print these directions for reference as you log on to the Mentor
Program.
- Visit the Career & Student Employment Services
Web site.
Click on "Register/Search for Jobs"
link in the upper left corner.
- Enter your username and password.
- Click on the 'Mentors' link on the menu bar at the top of the page.
- After reading the information titled "Searching for Mentors",
"Overview", "Working with your Mentor", and "Mentor
Tokens", you are now ready to search for your Alumni Mentor. Enter
the search criteria you wish to apply to your mentor and click the 'search'
button at the bottom of the page.
- Those mentors who match your criteria will appear on your screen. To
view a mentor's contact information, you must save that mentor to a
folder. Once you save a mentor, you will be charged one "token".
You may use a maximum of 10 tokens per month.
- Contact your mentor! It's a good idea to have questions or topics of
conversation ready when you first contact your Alumni Mentor. For examples,
