WMU ranks in top national universities
For the 19th consecutive year, WMU has been named one of America's "best national universities" by U.S. News & World Report. The publication's 2010 ranking includes more than 1,400 colleges and universities. This is WMU's 11th consecutive time listed in the top three tiers of national universities. More

Dunn discusses a healthy University
In his State of the University Address, WMU President John Dunn discussed the need for building a healthy University. He defined health in ways such as: intellectual vigor, physical health, emotional and spiritual awareness, financial health and stability, a healthy dose of self-esteem and confidence. More

University considered military-friendly
The University has been singled out as one of the top military-friendly schools in the nation on a list released by G.I. Jobs magazine, a national publication serving veterans and those about to leave active duty. The list honors the top 15 percent of post-secondary schools nationwide that "are doing the most to embrace America's veterans as students." More

WMU Grad contacted by Google
Jonathan Rumohr, B.S. '09, of Ishpeming , Mich., is one of 20 people from around the globe and four from the U.S. selected to attend a user’s conference for Internet giant Google this past August. Google was seeking feedback based on the group's knowledge and experience with the company's Internet mapping and architectural modeling software. More
