WMU mourns loss of Haenicke

WMU's Sarah Gerbig, a senior mechanical engineering student from Grand Blanc, Mich., was one of 24 student leaders chosen nationwide for the fifth annual Society of Automotive Engineers International Leadership Development Program. More

"The Tree Campus USA program will have a lasting impact at [WMU] and throughout the country because it will engage students and local citizens to plant trees and create healthier communities for people to enjoy for generations to come," says John Rosenow, chief executive of the Arbor Day Foundation. WMU Alumnus in "American Idol" top 12
WMU Gold Company alumnus and Kalamazoo native, Matt Giraud, B.A. '07, made it through another round on "American Idol" Wednesday night. Giraud is now one of 12 contestants still competing for the coveted title role.

WMU senior forward Patrick Galivan was the HCA National Division I Player of the Month in Feb. Galivan tallied 17 points on nine goals and eight assists in eight games, averaging 2.12 points-per game. More.
