Foster care program getting praise
WMU's groundbreaking Seita Scholars program is gaining momentum with the help of a 500k grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, more. The program is also being recognized nationally and was a front page feature in the Detroit Free Press, more.

WMU achieves gold 'green' status
The College of Health and Human Services building was recently recognized by the U.S. Green Building Council with its gold status. WMU is the first in the country to achieve the highest level in an existing higher education building. More.

Sky Broncos take 3rd in nationals

Two Broncos named Academic All-MAC
WMU softball player Lexi Jager, and baseball player Brent Gerlach, have been named Academic All-Mid-American Conference. The team is selected by the league's Faculty Athletic Rep.
