Dominican students to attend WMU
Ms. Ligia Amada de Cardona, secretary of state for higher education for the Dominican Republic, and WMU President John Dunn signed an agreement in January that will bring scores of students to WMU from that country. Alumni points of pride sought
The Western Student Association recently asked students what made them proud of WMU and from that long list will compile the 100 points of pride. The WMU Alumni Association thought this was such a great initiative on the part of WSA that it decided to compile a similar list based on alumni responses.
Between now and March 1, let us know what about WMU makes you most proud. All respondents will be entered into a drawing for WMU apparel and goods. To participate click here.

More WMU news sources
Keeping our graduates apprised of recent news from campus through @WMU is a priority for the WMU Alumni Association. In late 2007, WMU President John Dunn initiated The President's Perspective, a regular series of messages noting the achievements of our students, faculty and staff and commenting on other important topics. The direct link to these messages has been added above and we would encourage alumni to take a moment to read them.
We have also added a link to Prism, a monthly newsletter issued by the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affair's office, which is also a great source for points of pride about WMU. @WMU continues to have direct links to the electronic newsletters for WMU's academic colleges.
