International Bowl a Success

Although they fell 27-24, the Broncos played an outstanding inaugural International Bowl game against Cincinnati, and showed their heart and character as they battle back from a 21 point deficit. Of the 26,700 plus in attendance, the most enthusiastic and proud were clearly WMU alumni, students, parents, and fans. Before the game, almost 500 alumni and friends gathered for a wildly successful, sold-out Official Pre-game Party, sponsored by the WMU Alumni Association. On Friday night, the Bronco Marching Band, cheer and dance teams, and Buster Bronco were the clear victors at the "no winner" Battle of the Bands. January 6 was a proud day for everyone associated with WMU!
