1987 Distinguished Alumni Award Recipient
Lela Williams Llorens
1953 Bachelor of Science
Dr. Llorens received a master's degree from Wayne State University and a doctorate from Walen University. She has been a professor of occupational therapy, a department chair, and a coordinator of graduate students at both the University of Florida and San Jose State University. She is the recipient of many awards recognizing her contributions as an author, researcher, writer, lecturer and educator including the American Occupational Therapy Association's Award of Merit, its highest honor.
