WMU AGEP Program

Alliances for Graduate Education and the Professoriate (AGEP) is a program to enrich your academic experiences by creating an effective network of faculty, students, and administrators. The goal is to promote success in your doctorial program.

The Michigan AGEP program combines the resources of 4 major Michigan PhD universities to collaborate in recruiting, supporting and mentoring underrepresented minority students who earn doctoral degrees in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines.

Our vision is to make a difference in you so
that you can make a difference in the world.

The Spanish translation of the AGEP website was coordinated by the Graduate Center for Research and Retention. The Graduate College acknowledges the expert contributions of Dr. Pablo Pastrana-Pérez, Assistant Professor and Graduate Advisor, Department of Spanish, and Ms. Marlene Roldán-Romero and Mr. Rodrigo De Grau Amaya, graduate students with the Department of Spanish, who all lent their expertise, dedication, and talent in translating the AGEP website.
