New students transferring from a community college may be considered for one of the following merit-based awards. Students must have transferred at least 26 semester hours by January 2016, and must have earned at least a 3.5 grade point average in transferable courses (as calculated by the Office of Admissions) for consideration. All newly admitted transfer students who meet the scholarship criteria will be sent information about consideration.
For all competitive transfer scholarships, recipients must be U.S. citizens or legal residents. Disbursement of all awards begins with the fall 2016 semester. The following information describes transfer scholarships to be awarded for 2016 entry only. Future years' scholarships will be determined annually and are subject to change.
