What is the weather like at WMU?

Western is located in Kalamazoo, MI and as typical of the Midwest gets quite a bit of snow.  The temperatures hover in the low teens from December to early March.  Rain typically comes in April/May when temperatures start to rise.  Late May will definitely see a warming trend.  June/July/August temperatures range from high 70's to high 80's, occasionally spiking in the 90's.  Humidity tends to be the worse in July and August.

Most student activities are indoors during the winter months, so the weather tends to have little affect.
