What are the average GPA, SAT and ACT scores of WMU students?

Western Michigan University serves a large traditional-age population of students from middle-income families who enroll primarily from Michigan and the contiguous states, although students come from every state and some 90 other countries. More than 90 percent of new, first-time students reside on campus their first year (despite not being required to live on campus). The average high school cumulative grade point average for incoming students is 3.25.

The freshmen class has an average SAT score of 1040.

The average ACT for the incoming freshmen class is 22.
