How is the admissions process different for students with unique educational backgrounds?

Students who did not complete high school take the GED Tests, which are equivalent to the high school diploma. For GED applicants, a battery score of 510 or better (51 or better for tests taken in 2001 and earlier) is required for admission. An official transcript of GED Test Results is required. The student is not required to take the ACT or SAT tests.

Home-schooled applicants should present a transcript of course work and an ACT/SAT score. Home-schooled students must meet the same admission criteria as all other applicants; however, emphasis is placed on test scores.

The Beta Program is for nontraditional students applying for degree status, who are not regularly admissible and have not been enrolled for five (5) years or more. Eligible applicants are automatically considered for this program.
