What classes are required prior to applying for admission?

We strongly recommend high school students take a solid core of college preparatory work prior to enrolling at WMU. The base core includes: four years of English, three years of mathematics (through second year algebra), three years of natural science, three years of a social science and two years of the same  foreign language.

A solid core in these subjects will provide you  with the broadest possible range of academic choices from which to chose when you enroll.
