How can I request a transcript? What services are provided by the registrar's office?

From the time a student begins study at WMU, through graduation and beyond, the Office of the Registrar plays an important role. Since this office publishes the institution's class schedule each semester, your first interaction may be in using the registration system to enroll for your first classes here. All student records are maintained, protected, and disseminated by this office. As you move close to graduation, you will begin the graduation audit process through the Registrar's Office. It is here that auditors ensure that students have met university requirements prior to awarding a degree. Beyond graduation, this office issues all official transcripts.

Please refer to http://www.wmich.edu/registrar for more information on policies, calendars, and deadlines. You can reach the office by phone at (269) 387-4300, or visit us on the third floor of the Seibert Administration Building. We look forward to making your time at WMU as smooth and successful as possible!

Transcripts may be requested and picked up at the Office of the Registrar located on the third floor of the Seibert Administration Building.  A picture ID is required to protect confidentiality.

To request a transcript you must provide the following: name (including any maiden or married names you may have used while attending the University), student identification, date of birth, the date of last term in which you were enrolled, a phone number, address or email address where you can be reached in case there is a problem processing your request, and instructions as to where you want your transcript sent click here for more
