Are there admissions requirements for international students at WMU?

Western annually enrolls more than 1,000 international students representing nearly 90 foreign countries. International students interested in attending the University must submit an application for admission and, official transcripts of secondary and post-secondary work, as well as copies of diplomas reflecting certificates and degrees earned. In addition, a statement of financial solvency is required as is evidence of documented proficiency in English.

Any applicant who isn't a permanent resident of the United States at the time of application for admission is categorized as an international student.

For more information, see the International Admissions and Services Web site for admission application forms and instructions on how to apply.
