What is WMU's academic calendar like?
The University operates under a traditional semester system, which means you usually begin fall classes in late August and complete the first semester in mid-December. Following a break, spring semester classes usually begin in early January and conclude in late April. WMU also offers two summer terms, during which students can enroll full or part time. Some students elect to enroll throughout the academic year with a plan to graduate early.
