Family and friends driving to Kalamazoo to visit Western Michigan University should note that significant highway and bridge construction along I-94 in Kalamazoo may cause traffic delays.
Major roadwork at the intersection of I-94 and U.S. 131 has parts of that interchange closed, and slowdowns are predicted. All Oakland Drive exits on I-94 are closed, and Oakland Drive is closed to all northbound and southbound traffic at I-94.
