What classes are required prior to applying for admission?

We strongly recommend high school students take a solid core of college preparatory work prior to enrolling at WMU. The base core includes: 4 years of English, 3 years of mathematics (through 2nd year algebra), 3 years of natural science, 3 years of a social science, and 2 years of the same  foreign language.

A solid core in these subjects will provide you  with the broadest possible range of academic choices from which to chose when you enroll.
