Many students enter Western Michigan University having decided on majors, while others are undecided and benefit from the services provided by the University program. University Curriculum is the advising home for more than 1500 new, first-time students who are exploring potential majors but are not ready to declare majors in specific fields of study.
We encourage WMU students to actively explore their interests, values, and skills and to think about how these might match potential careers or graduate school plans. Most students select majors by the beginning of the second year of their studies.
