Volunteer Project: During this weekend of Child Abuse Prevention Month, volunteers work 2 hour shifts receiving monetary donations in exchange for a lifesaver candy and information about child abuse. Volunteers are provided a t-shirt (to keep) and a bright blue apron identifying them as volunteers for our non-profit agency. They receive an orientation before reporting to their assigned site. We accommodate volunteers' time requests and encourage volunteers to work with a partner. Verification of hours worked is provided immediately, if needed.
