Currently enrolled Western Michigan University students come together to form Registered Student Organizations around common interests. An RSO must include a minimum of four but some consist of more than 200 students. The Student Activities and Leadership Programs office stands ready to support the endeavors of all RSOs. Student Activities staff members engage students in learning and personal development by advising, but not supervising student organizations. Student Activities recognizes nearly 300 RSOs each year at WMU.
