The Fall and Spring Leadership Retreats are 2-day off-campus events. The retreats are designed to serve the needs of developing student leaders by honing their leadership skills and developing support networks with other campus leaders. The activities of the Spring Leadership Retreat build on the concepts and activities of the Fall Leadership Retreat. The cost of attendance for each retreat is $10.
The Fall Leadership Retreat consists of a wide variety of activities that touch of the following topics: communication, problem-solving, risk-taking, team-building and diversity. Students have the opportunity to participate in a low-ropes course. The 2011 Fall Leadership Retreat took place November 9-10, 2012 at Sherman Lake YMCA Camp.
The activities of the Spring Leadership Retreat build on the concepts and activities of the Fall Leadership Retreat. The Spring Leadership Retreat focuses on influence, empowerment, communication, problem-solving, and diversity. Students have the opportunity to participate in a high-ropes course. The 2012 Spring Leadership Retreat will be taking place February 15-16, 2013 at Sherman Lake YMCA Camp.
